about the pkgsrc freeze...

anyone else out there think that they're freezing the pkgsrc for 2 weeks in order to put out 2.0 version of the OS right aftter?  They say they want to stabilize the packages currently present in pkgsrc, does this usually happen right before they release the next version of the OS?  Has there been any other word on when the 2.0 release date will be?

Re: about the pkgsrc freeze...

Maybe, but they tend to freeze pkgsrc from time to time, possible so that pkgsrc will continue to supply hight quality packets smile

And everyone else who think the packets sux, stfu and rtfm then begin developing and debugin!

Thanks for a nice page by the way.
