ACPI enabled kernel causes neverending reboots

I'm testing NetBSD 4.0 Beta on an amd64 machine. When I compile a GENERIC_ACPI kernel, my system reboots during the boot sequence. What can be wrong? A buggy BIOS? How can I try to figure out what is wrong? Unfortunately, this is the only amd64 machine that I can run NetBSD on.

I dont know what can be wrong, but have you tried to run 3.0 to see if that works better?

Re: ACPI enabled kernel causes neverending reboots

With 3.0.1 the system boots correctly on an ACPI enabled kernel. shutdown -p now also turns off the computer. But with 4.0-beta it won't start. Could be a bug in 4.0-beta. I will write a PR.
