accesspoint

hey,

i'm setting up a netbsd access point with a netgear wg511.

everything works fine, though i'm wondering how i can deny access from clients.
you can use a wep-key and don't allow unkown users on the dhcp-server.

but let's say they know what network you use and they've figured out the wep-key.
i've got a netgear router and you can allow access only to known clients, does it only
deny access to the dhcp-server or the whole access point?

i could deny access from unkown clients on the dhcp-server, but the problem is that the server
is also acting as a firewall/gateway for a wired network, and i don't want to add the "wired"-users
mac-address to dhcpd.conf.

i want some way so i can deny access to the dhcp-server/access point for "wireless"-users and still have the wired and wireless users on the same subnet.

edit:
oh yes, is there some way to see what clients that are connected to the access point?

Re: accesspoint

For the accessthingie i guess you could put the accesspoint in a third nic in the fw/gw if it's a pctype machine and not a hardware gw.

Then you could set a range of ip's in the dhcpd for that specific nic-if (ex2 for example).
