winmodem drivers

hi

i have located a driver for my winmodem(internal[net0dragon]

(http://www.netodragon.com/slmodem-2.9.1 … on.tar.gz\)

but the soucre is designed for linux,,when i run make,etc it gives me errors..

any one out there knows how to modify c linux source to netbsd??

actually this is the last remainig issue before i shift completely to netbsd..

Forget about the Linux drivers. Linux != NetBSD.

Is your modem recognized at all? If it is a isapnp
or PCI card it should have a "not configured" line
in the output of 'dmesg'. Otherwise your modem should
work.

I thought you said that your modem was unsupported by NetBSD? in that case there is nothing you can do except writing your own driver wink

Yepp, all isapnp an PCI modems that work with NetBSD
work with a GENERIC kernel, a GENERIC kernel supports
all known hardware. That's the reason it's quite large
in size.
