CD-rom and Linux emulation.

Hi.
I have a question about Linux emulation and if it's possible for a program to access the cd-rom. I have a student's edition of Matlab, there's no licenseserver, but you have to have the documentation cd in the drive to be able to run Matlab. When I  start Matlab I'll get a error message saying there's no cd in the drive. Have tried reading compat_linux(8) and googling, but no luck.

Re: CD-rom and Linux emulation.

It's a while since i tried it, but I almost shure that I mounted the procfs in fstab using the "linux" option. I now have to run under linux, but ut would be nice if it worked under NetBSD. I don't like the fact running linux just because I have to use one specific application.
Anyway, any thoughts are most welcomed!
