Hey there,
any good intel how to get oracle 9i runnig on NetBSD 1.6.2(i386)

Ok, I'm messing with Oracle on NetBSD this weekend. If I can get things running smoothly, I'll let you know how I did it.

I haven't tested the performance. I didn't do a linux/netbsd comparative if you ask.


I am using a Laptop: Dell Latitude C600 (Pentium  III-700Mhz, 386 Mbytes) and it works ok for me.

I am able now to update the version to 9.2.0.7. I have to update the web page this weekend.



When I have time I will try Oracle 10g or may be Oracle 10g Expres (this one is free).
